We have had to resort to this as Pippa won't leave her ear alone. She is crying constantly now as well.

Oh hope you wee dog is better very soon, those things look terrible, and the poor dog does not know that it is for the best.

She didn't hang around long enough to have her piccie taken Bill Big Grin, she is more of an outdoor cat, and think she will probably stay out a bit more now.
Pippa is now laid by my feet, she kept slipping on the laminate flooring where she couldn't see where she was going so given up. She has stopped crying for a while, think she is just shattered.

Don't tempt me Caroline, it is tipping it down at the moment and I got so little sleep last night Roll Eyes. Have taken her collar off for a while to give her a break so she can wash as well as she is always washing herself. She has driven me nuts.

Poor doggie. Frown
My cats hates it when they have to wear that after a visit to the vet. Only one of them are so fine when she have had a surgery so she don't have to wear it... but the other two. OMG! They wreak the apartment when they stumble into things all the time. Roll Eyes

When my two had surgery on the same day neither recognised the other in their "lampshade Collars" and it was more of a mad house than usual!!

Poor thing, they are horrible those lampshade collars. I remember 2 of my cats having them, it was a nightmare, I had to take the one off in the end as she was just going banana's banging her head up the table to get it off, it upset me too seeing her frustration.

I took it off this morning thinking she might be ok without it, when she came home she didn't have it on and the vet said see how she goes. She had a scratch a few times at her ear last night which is why we put it on. This morning she scratched it and made it bleed so think it will just have to stay on. She is crying all the time and is a danger to all around when she belts about the place in it, but can't have her doing damage to her ear.

That's true Alison, it'l take forever to heal if she keeps scratching at it, it is horrible to see them frustrated though is'nt it, but I guess for her sake it will have to stay on. Hope it heals soon.
