I have had one special pen, that my Dad gave me when I left primary school...39 years ago!! it was a Parker pen, called a Parker 45 convertable, in a maroon colour and it was a fountain pen or a cartridge pen. It was my pride and joy, and I had it throughout secondary education and college. I still have it but don't use it any more, but because Dad gave it to me I will never part with it. I buy charity pens if I can, these days.
I use to be a pen addict but i am better now. Since giving up work and using computers all the time i don't really feel the need for them anymore.
SAying that i have just brought a breast cancer pen that i an waiting for the postie to deliver.

I still buy them but not th especial ones just the regular packs of 5 type thing as i can never find them!
I have a fave pen that my Dad gave me he got it by collecting cards inside cigarette packs and its a silver parker biro with the cigarette logo on it
I also have a couple that my hubby has given me that are very smooth when it comes to writing and I keep them safe so only I can use them. I also have a few calligraphy pens as I like to do calligraphy inside my hand made cards
I have a draw full of cheap biros and I have them dotted all round the house but I can still never find one when I want one
i love pens and have a couple of big boxes of them. I used to collect novelty ones but i haven't bought any for ages, i'm really trying to be good and not get anymore 'clutter' LOL
I still have the cartridge pen I had at school which was a while ago ! And the little bulldog figure I got out of the cereal packet and fought my brother for and kept it in my pencil case !.
I love pens.I have a draw full in my bedroom.Mostly from places we have visited. It was never a day out unless me and my siter could get a pen, pencil and rubber etc.I still do buy pens from places we visit.
I love pens...i love a particular fountain pen that was my first (decades ago), and ever since it broke i have been trying to find one like it...lol and i still have the pieces too
Pen addict here too. Over my 45 years working in offices and visiting hotels I have collected many. Don't remember when, if ever, I last bought a pen. I check them all about once a year and usually throw out one or two that have given up the ghost. Lots of memories with some of the pens. I have 3 or 4 Parker pens that are still in their original boxes. My favourite is a Lady Schaeffer I was given by a special friend many years ago.
I used to have a gold plated pen which was given to me, I then gave it to my Grandad and he's still got it now, more than 10 years later. He's bought 2 refills for it and he loves it.
Me, I love my Stabilo 'S' move pen. I'm a lefty and find it hard to write neatly. This pen has indentations where you should rest your digits and it helps you write 'properly'.
