Are you a pen addict? Do you have a favourite pen? Lets talk about pens.

My dad used to have one of the first Parker pens and it was kept in its box.It came out to fill in the pools coupon or signing cheques.LOL

I love pens, have way too many but can never find one when I need to write down a phone message of course.

I have had one special pen, that my Dad gave me when I left primary school...39 years ago!! it was a Parker pen, called a Parker 45 convertable, in a maroon colour and it was a fountain pen or a cartridge pen. It was my pride and joy, Smile and I had it throughout secondary education and college. I still have it but don't use it any more, but because Dad gave it to me I will never part with it. I buy charity pens if I can, these days.

I have a fave pen that my Dad gave me he got it by collecting cards inside cigarette packs and its a silver parker biro with the cigarette logo on it Big Grin

I also have a couple that my hubby has given me that are very smooth when it comes to writing and I keep them safe so only I can use them. I also have a few calligraphy pens as I like to do calligraphy inside my hand made cards Big Grin

I have a draw full of cheap biros and I have them dotted all round the house but I can still never find one when I want one Big Grin

Pen addict here too. Over my 45 years working in offices and visiting hotels I have collected many. Don't remember when, if ever, I last bought a pen. I check them all about once a year and usually throw out one or two that have given up the ghost. Lots of memories with some of the pens. I have 3 or 4 Parker pens that are still in their original boxes. My favourite is a Lady Schaeffer I was given by a special friend many years ago.

Not a pen addict but I have my favourites.

I used to have a gold plated pen which was given to me, I then gave it to my Grandad and he's still got it now, more than 10 years later. He's bought 2 refills for it and he loves it.

Me, I love my Stabilo 'S' move pen. I'm a lefty and find it hard to write neatly. This pen has indentations where you should rest your digits and it helps you write 'properly'.
