She came home yesterday evening, the drsaid it wasn't a bleed on the brain after all and it was a very severe migraine. She's still got a headache but she says that's bearable and her back is very sore after having a lumbar puncture, apparently it took the dr 3 attempts to get that done! She's got to go back to her GP for more tests next week and she says she's dying to come back ot work as Colin's driving her nuts with his nursemaiding! Obviously we don't want her rushing back before she's fully fit but we're just so glad it wasn't as serious as we first thought.

That's got to be a big relief for Ann. I cringed when I read the part about 3 tries for the lumbar puncture. Gentle hugs coming your way, Ann. Thanks for the update, Crazymum46.

hi the same happend to me 2 years ago I had severe headaches and could not stand any type of light so I went to my GP in tears she told me it could be Meningitis or a bleed on the brain I was in total shock I had to spend the night in hospital were they did a lumbar punture test and CT Scan but it turned out to be migraine they also said I would probably not get another severe attack and touch wood I have not as I have never suffered from migraine.
