Well after long chats with hubby, we have decided to seperate, i am currently staying at my mums, The council are being useless and are really taking their time to find somewhere for me and my son to live, i have tried looking for private rental as i will get help to pay rent and council tax but nowhere seems to do that at the moment, So i am stuck, luckily i am away for the week next week on my sun holiday which will be nice, i am so fed up at the moment.
Just wanted to offer you some ((hugs)) and hope everything gets sorted for you eventually.The council are useless, they wouldnt house the 5 of us, offered to put us in a hostel.So know how you feel in that respect. Go and have a great hol and enjoy it.Sunds like you could use time out to relax abit.

Sorry to hear that Gina. Just one word of warning our council won't let you bid on property if you are private renting - they say you are not homeless, don't matter you are penniless by the time you have paid the rent!! Enjoy your holiday and hope things work out for you.

hugs hun and ive been in your situation, because i was staying at my parents i had somewhere to stay so wasnt priority even though me and my 2 girls were sharing one room there, in the end i just went private and im staying that way even though its more expensive
When I moved back to M'bro I went into a Hostel - my parents had the space for us but if we'd gone there we'd have been the bottom of the housing list. It meant 11 weeks of living in one room + sharing a sitting room - Tiggerlet was 4, DS months - and although it wasn't easy it meant I got a house quicker. The house I got was worth the wait - the area isn't the best but I have nice neighbours and I ended up buying it.
Proud of yah gina you done the right thing the hardest parts over now that inital decison to make that big change has been made - things might be tight but they can only get better from here on.
