I had a very trying eveing hanna was haveing a temper tantrum and threw her head back and knocked her head on my computer desk hard enough to cut. so i put frozen bag of veggies on it to keep swe;lling down but the bleeding hadn't stop so my dd and mum drove us to the hospital and they just said to keep it cleean and keep eye on her.

I think she'll be right as rain tho as with in an hour of being home her and alexis were fighting!

and it is so hot here that i really want to get started on my exchange gift for (&%&*%^&*% but i've not got it in me to get my stuff together and i'm so tired!

Well Hanna is just fine. Right as rain and fighting with lexi so nothing out of ordinary there. no longer bleeding which is good!

Found some energy as i sat drinking cold ice water all day (talk about needing tenas!) and my sister was goign by the dollar store so cgot me a skien that i needed so i can stitch the pic for lynne's exchange that i want to! which i think i'll start tomorrow.

We are supposed to have 80% chance of some storms which would be nice cool things off but temps are supposed to be really comfortable for next week which I like hate the humid heat!

He's doing good Michelle thanks for asking he is going to the docs next week as I'd noticed at times his lips have a blueish tinge (sp) although he says he feels fine....it's just a bit worrying I'll probably be heading off too....see if I can get some sleep catch you later

Dunno about Fit Jeanette, it's playing havoc with my fibro, though I do have a very good homeopathic remedy at the moment which is working well. I've done some more to the giraffes neck earlier today so the splodges are a bit bigger now.
How much more of your afghan have you got to do?

I'm only on the 3rd angel I've got 12 to do all in so better plug my fingers in the socket to recharge them lol.....oh big splodges sounds lovely lol at least it's getting bigger you must have done quite abit of work on it.........wish I could find a homeopathic remedy as mine has been playing up too lately but I'm sure it will calm down at some point....Lynne do you use your tens machine my son bought me and I don't know if I'm using it right or even often enough

I only use it when the pain is localised. Are you putting the black and red leads in the right places? There should be an instruction booklet with it that gives you a diagram.
I'll fill you in on the homeopathic treatment when I mail you, but I do know I couldn't have done half of what I've done lately without it. I finished the trial last month and now see her privately as I felt it was worth it.

what is everyone up to today

Just rescued this from the bottom of page 2!!!.

Had a hell of a day here, everywhere is flooded, landed up helping to rescue a guy from his car that was trapped as the river burst it's banks. Roads everywhere are under a good 4 foot of water and there is only 1 way in and out to ours at the moment and the river on that road is fit to burst at any moment. Road where Steve works was under water earlier today so dont know if he'll be able to get in or not yet, if he's not back here in half an hour then he will have been able to get through which is something I suppose.

OMG Lynne that must have been scary.... the poor guy and you must have been scared stiff...I hope the weather improves down your way real soon. take care

i know what it is like to have flooding so near by SElkirk and just north is always prone to flooding every spring! How it eases up soon.

Have just seen the news reports re; the terrible floods in Sheffield and Hull I hope everyone who stays there is okay....It's just awful. I hope the rain finally subsides and the water levels begin to drop

Lynne how did Steve make out going to work hope you are both okay

He managed to get through o.k thanks Jeanette, they have shut the road off but are letting workers through. We popped to Rotherham earlier today and some of the large roundabouts were completely under water and we saw one fireman giving someone a piggy back through the water and it was almost to his waist. It was scary to see and I fear with the effects of global warming it's probably only going to get worse over the years.
