Laura it takes 7 days by airmail and 6 to 8 weeks surface mail (well thats what they call it lol) I post to Canada and recieve from there regularly sometimes airmail gets here within 7 days........Your post office does sound pants ours isnt that much better since it was bought over....it now depends on who serves you if they are knowledgeable or not about postage

i sent before and its taken about a week i had to laugh when she says it goes by land though satalites missed that piece didnt they? LOL
an to think they have to be tested to work in a po now

I don't know what test they have to do but it must be really really easy or they know someone.....like the man who bought over the shop with the post offices.....his son works in it and he is hopeless

Our post office is great.....The lady that works there doesn't know a lot but will always check everything for you....

I think it goes surface and not air all the why to the destination. Land post to the ocean and then cattle boat across the "pond"!

I always send airmail cause I think sending anything surface mail gives it longer to go missing...

I posted last Thursday Michelle....so it should arrive tomorrow....It seems to take exactly a week....

Working on my ARchie Square for my last RR. and feeeling a bit crummy as my throat is sore!

House hunting is going fine Michelle - we've found a house and had our offer accepted. Just need to sell ours, but our selling agent was next to useless so we have switched, guy coming a bit later today with the paperwork for us to sign

I've got friends that are trying to sell their house as well and move to the city. but they are dfinding it hard as the prices are so different from country house to city houses.

Good afternoon all....Just here for a short time, then have to go back to work and then Rhiannon is in a fashion show tomorrow night and has a dress rehersal tonight that I somehow got roped into it....People think I can sew....lol....I can stitch, but can't sew...lolllol

Nothing in particular Laura....The fashion show is tomorrow night and it is just in case they are any alternations to be done at the last minute....Rhiannon is very good at volunteering me to do things like this...lol
