I know I done one of these before, and I think Steph also did, but I can't seem to find either of them, and as there are a lot of newbies about at the minute, I thought it would be useful to do again.

ROUND ROBIN
A round robin is a group of people who get together to stitch a piece. There are normally between 4 and 8 people, although there can be more or less.
Each person gets their material and marks out the correct number of sections with one section per person. They then stitch the first design themselves and posts to the next person on the list. In the meantime they will have received a piece from the person before them on the list and they stitch on that piece and then forward to the next person.
You always receive from the same person and always post to the same person.
Your piece then works its way round the list until it ends up back with you again.
STITCH A LONG
A group of people decide to stitch the same design. This is done by themselves, but they post pictures of their work once a week to encourage each other to finish the piece.
SEND A LONG
These don't take place very often anymore, but they work like this. One person gathers together stitchy items that they no longer want or need and sends them to the next person on the list. That person then picks something out that they would use and puts in something of the same value, and then posts to the next person.
Eventually the package gets back to the starting person, who now has a new bundle of stitchy goods.
ARTIST TRADING CARDS
A small piece of work, usually the size of a playing card. This is to show people your work and are normally traded as part of exchanges.
FROGGING
You might see this and wonder what on earth we are talking about. It means that you have made a mistake and have to rip it out...
