Went to hobbycraft with my brother today, he's expressed an interest in taking up cross stitch so he wanted to go and buy a small kit to try to see if he liked it. He couldn't find anything he liked so he's chosen a nice pagoda pattern in different shades of blue from one of my oriental stitching books. I didn't have all the colours he'd need so we substituted them for some similar shades. I've given him everything he needs and a few tips too. He said he might not start it tonight, just have a look through the book and get to know what he's doing first.

I'm really excited that I might have another stitcher in the family and just hope he enjoys it!!!!! I'll keep you updated on his progress!!!
