can I ask what needles everyone uses for beading? I ordered some beading needles, but the are really long and bendy, I just can't use them, my fingers are like pincushions they are so sharp!
I was looking for some more petite in size. And I need ones that can fit through petite beads.

Know what you mean-my fingers hurt from beading needles but it's the only thing I've found will thread Mill Hill beads I'm using

Hiya, i've found this to be a bit of a problem too...however i like to use size 28 needles to stitch and i found that they are small enough to fit in the beads if you dont find them too small for you

can't remember what i used last when beading.

but i got some old needles and apparently they're beading needles. you can't even see the eye tidy!

A size 10 embroidery needle works with most seed beads. When using a needle with a sharp point on evenweave fabric I insert the needle eye first as this helps avoid going into the wrong place.
