Hi there, my name is Rachel and i am 31 but still waiting for the recount on that as i am pretty sure i am 25..i live with my boyfriend of 2 years Rich and we have 1 cat called Lily who we rescued last year - I am a taxi driver and love to stitch, read and surf and have been known to do all 3 at the same time!

I have been a member here for a few years and have just come back to checking it every day as I was off sick for over 3 months.
I'm married with 2 grown up children and 2 grandchildren. I work full time as a Staff Nurse in a local hospital. I enjoy cross stitching, reading and gardening.

my name is michelle, though i get called shell (due to my niece not being to pronounce michelle when she was younger and it has stuck) i am 33 yrs young and i have recently got back into cross stitching after about 10yrs because i am doing my own images now

i have multi level disc degeneration in my back and have been unable to work now going on 4yrs so need something to pass the time and keep me sane!

i love to read, i have just started getting into card making (though no sure about my designs lol), love watching football (the mighty reds, as in UTD), love to experiment with cooking though not sure my b/f likes that one lol and when i can i also like to do a bit of kayaking (although can be painful and uncomfortable at times)

i also like to swim, and we recently purchased one of them nintendo wii thingies, so have been getting to grips with that lately

anyway enough waffling, this is me!

I'm Julie, otherwise known as fluffyfred. I'm 28 and been married for nearly 4 years to Rob, whom I had a crush on at the age of 9. We've been together for 10 years.

We've got a gorgeous Son called Michael and he's 5 (or as he puts it, a BIG 5).

We share our house with 4 cats, all of which belong to Rob. We did have 5 but my cat, Fred got ill last year and was put to sleep.

I started my first cross stitch project while I was pregnant with Michael, I stitched for a couple of months and when I had Michael, I didn't have enough time to finish it. It then got put in my cupboard and I forgot about it until about 3 months ago. I've finished it now and have done a few other bits. I'm starting my own big project within the next couple of weeks, something which I am doing for me.

I work full time for an energy company, dealing with complaints. It's stressful at times but I love my job and I feel good when I manage to resolve a query and make the customer happy.

My real name is Emily. I live in Montana, USA, as of about 5 yrs ago--a lot of snow, and a lot of wild animals and national parks nearby! I've been married for one year. I'm returning to Christianity after a long absence, but still do Buddhist meditation as well. I've bicycled across the country, written a fantasy novel (not ready for publication yet.) Have no kids, one crazy cat, Gertie. Husband also crazy--thinks he's a mountain man from 1800s, plans to join re-enactor groups, a la Renaissance Fair and Civil War re-enactors.
Love x stitch, crochet, learning to knit as well. Stitching rules--so soothing!

i am a total stitch-a-holic and have more stash in my home that my local needleshop lol.
i used to live in the UK for a while (near Lewes).trained to be a teacher, i also work as a freelance translator from home (when i am not chasing my kids around the house)
also love reading and mermaids. my daughter is thinking of becoming one when she grows up lol. he remedy is just to soak in the bath tub forever and grow a tail lol.
