What a fantastic mixed group we are - thanks Steph for starting this thread - it's lovely to "meet" everyone.

My real name is Diana - one of my grandchildren gave me the name of "Lallee" and I love it because it is so unique! To introduce myself - I am 54 years young (55 next March) and live in God's country - Queensland, Australia. I recently retired from the paid workforce, where I was an Executive Assistant to Jondaryan Shire Mayor and CEO - loved the job but have Multiple Sclerosis and decided I needed quality time at home with my hubby, Steve. Been married (second time around) for 25 years and we have six children and eleven beautiful grandchildren - with five of them living in the UK!! I was born in South Wales but have been in Australia since I was 12. Will be visiting the UK again next year for our son's wedding in August - can't wait to see those beautiful grandchildren again. I make 3D greetings cards (for a little bit of pocket money), love my stitching as it helps me relax, am a very amateur photographer, and love to read when the MS doesn't interfere with my concentration levels.

Am looking forward to my first RR with the Honeypots group, and would like to thank those of you who have already helped me so much through contact on this site.

Hellooo! Big Grin

I'm Rachel and I'm 20 years old, currently single and no kids. I live in South Shields with my parents and two sisters. I'm doing my final degree year at university at the moment - can't wait until it's finished so I can get on doing something else. I have 3 kitties and a fish. I did have 3 fish but 2 died (no, the cats didn't eat them Wink). They were just very old - 8 and 10 lol.

I like to cross stitch, read (I'll read anything), avoid doing my 6,000 word essay (that's what I'm doing now), swim, spend time with my friends, watch Lost on TV and messing around on the computer.

Ok I'll jump in here too. I'm 59 (as of 2 weeks ago) and married to my first love (whom I met when I was 16) for 6 years now. We've been together for 11 years. It took us a long time but we finally connected again after a few detours along the road of life. But that's another story... I have one son from a previous marriage who is at the other end of Canada from us. We live in Alberta in the West and he is in Ontario in the East. My hobbies are of course, cross stitching, crocheting, reading and enjoying this forum. Does collecting Xstitch mags count as a hobby? Hmmm... My other big interest is golfing which my DH and I try to do as much as possible even though our summers here are way too short. We love to travel as well. Both of us are retired, me for 3 years now and Norman for 1 1/2 yrs.
That's me in a nutshell.

This is fun, thanks for doing this. Smile

Hello All!

I'm Ceri, 38, live in Stafford - been here for just over ten years now. I got married last year on the Summer Solstice to Ian. Pet wise I have one cat Molly who is six months old and lives with my parents in Cumbria; I also have two dogs - a patterdale terrier called Ted and a welsh collie named Rhinog.

I'm a nurse, for my sins, doing agency work atm till I get the start date for my new job in Birmingham.

Oh and no children as yet!

Hobbies - cross stitch takes up most of my spare time, though am casting my eye to do some knitting and rug making! I do have an interest in supernatural stuff. I enjoy going to bike rallies and wandering round the country to see my favourite band! So thats me in a big nutshell!!
