I am Sandz...23, still living at home (but hope to change that next year), have a photography degree but no job just yet at the moment I am looking for anything because I need to make some money but ultimately want to work for a photography portrait studio *so fingers crossed*

I love anything arty or crafty & my Mum + Nan taught me to stitch about 12years ago...(when I was about 10/11) I love it and recently got back into it a couple of years ago. Currently stitching a Santa Tatty Teddy for my Mum & just finished a Chinese design for my best mate

hi im chri / christine am 48 and been married to alby for 22 years. have 2 grown up children a boy jamie who is 20 and claire 18. started to cross stitch about 8 years ago and had to give up 3 years ago as i had tennis elbow and it took over a year to put right. got back into cross stitch august this year as i am currently off work as i had a knee replacement in july and got back into x stitching as something to do. also i make cards and love decoupaging. hope to get back to work after christmas . were i am a teaching assistant in a junior school.

i am a children's nurse by trade...noticed a lot of you nurses on here...and usually work with children needing bone marrow transplants altho not working at the mo, was getting a lot of stitching done until i came to the forum!!

Hi, I have just come across this thread and thought I would add to it.

I'm Marcia, 34 and have been married for 7 years in June. We do not have any children, but do have an adorable cat called Charlie.

I have been cross stitching for over 20 yrs now and really enjoy it. I also enjoy knitting, card making and have tried lace making and candle making.

I can't believe i've missed this thread its looks good.

Anyway, Most of you know i'm formally known as Amykins i've actually been on this board since 2003.
I'm 22 years old and live with my partner (Justin) in a bedsit. every few weeks i come to see my parents for a few days and can come on the internet then as well.
my family have a dog (called sally) and 2 cats.

at the moment i'm looking for work. but also on call to do any wrap and packing where Justin works in removals.
i don't really get bored as i do something different everyday a bit like a housewife for 1. actually i think he makes work for me.
i'm actually thinking about going back to my stitching classes again. but i'm not sure all the travelling is worth it yet.

I love cross stitch and other embroidery. want to get into card making. also love TV, music, films, internet, PS2 and reading.

I am Lisa 32, married to Ian for 5 years. We have two gorgeous daughters, Georgia who is 3, Isla who is 4 months and an insane Springer Spaniel, Benson.

I am a stay at home mum, and will be for the forseeable future, at least until Isla is at school anyway.

My hobbies are cross stitching and reading.

I am 41 (soon), married for 14 years (in July) to Mark (35). Have one son nearly 13 and a daughter nearly 10. Love cross-stitch and reading. Work part time in Tesco on Fresh Food Stock Control. Love my job.

hi im donna. i am new to cross stitching. i have been doing it for around 4 weeks. i am a stay at home mum and my partner is dissabled so cant work so stays at home and helps me with our 5 month old baby girl elaine. we have been together for 17 months. i got pregnant and moved in with him after just a few months and its been non stop ever since lol
