Hello,
Has anyone stitched Teresa Wentzler's Peacock. It is a big project and I would like to start it. But the threads are very confusing as they all need to be blended. Although the instruction say just blending filament there are two types...Just thought if anyone can give me any advice on this this. Thanks winnie |

Blending usually means using two different coloured threads at the same time.
Means you aren't able to do a loop start but otherwise I didn't find that difficult. Filament threads can fray easily and I use Thread Heaven to help with that and keep the length of threads short when using filament threads. ann |

Thanks Ann, I did understand from the kit what is blending, but what I realy want to know is there are 2 types of filament threads, but in the chart it just says filament threads twice, and in the bleding instructions it doea not differentiate it either. I am confused which goes where? Also what is thread Heaven?

thread heaven is a wonderful thing
it is thread conditioner that you coast your thread with and it allows the thread to move thru the material better and with less notting and such and as for if anyone has done the peacock i think that Bouncy tigger might have as i know she likes those designs my pics involved in: CArolines Number Exchange (started stitching), Aussie Stitcher's scissorkeep exchange (got details waiting on likes), Laurar's butterfly exchange(?) wips: Lost no more by Dimensions, two special somethings Be who you are, Say what you feel, cuz those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind~Dr. Seuss~ |
