Is anyone interested in doing a SAL using any issue of the Cross Stitch crazy magazines?

I thought a SAL would be a geat idea as we don't have to worry about the cost of postage and will give us the "get up & go" to complete a design. Plus lots of support and encouragement!

I thought we could start this around Febuary to allow us time to get over xmas & the new year and gives us time to go through our mags to see what we want to stitch.

We haven't got the latest crazy yet- Aus is 1-2 months behind the UK.

stitch along holly ... you all stitch somthing at the same time....

A Stitch A Long is when we all decide what to stitch- in this case from cross stitch crazy, pick a starting date- Feb- and all stitch the pic together at the same time, posting pics of our work as we go along to help keep us all motivated. There is no posting involved in a SAL.

Hi, I'm new to this forum and have not done a SAL before but would like to join in.

One question I have before I say a definite count me in is - does the design have to be a big one?

In the Feb '08 issue of Cross Stitch Crazy there are 3 floral designs which I quite fancy having a go at, but as the sizes are a minimum of 65 high and maximum 50 wide, would I still be able to do them as a SAL? Hope so!

If not, then it's back to searching through my magazines!

they can be any chart you would like to do out of the mag-small or big- doesn't matter.

So.. it can be ANY design from ANY issue? We don't have to all stitch the same thing like others have done in SAL's? I'm in two minds about this as I have signed up for the Somebunny RR and I think the first posting date for that is Feb.
