.......Aw Catharina, we are all so glad that you have found a reason for stitching, and we are even more glad that this group is your reason. You are doing a remarkable job as are all the other lovely Ladies and Nik. The fact that so many people are now stitching for the charity means so much to all these lovely children and now hopefully we will be able to help out those suffering from the dreaded "C" by the finishing of lots of blankets in memory of our dear Hanny. I think everyone needs three cheers so Hip Hip Horray etc. Hugs to you all.

i took all of the bits for hannys first blanket to the po yesterday to get some idea of postage ....EEK!!!! its going to be around £26.00... but it will be worth it if i cannot find a better way of posting...i will keep you all updated love jane xxx

thank you emma, has helped lots.. the blanket is going to holland... its big.. 2.05mtsx2.05 mtrs i spent most of yesterday unpicking as i found a fault in some of the white fabric leaving little tiny holes... looked as if a thread had been pulled but i darnt leave it as i didnt want it to spoil the whole blanket.... will get back to you tomorrow as imoff to start stitching the hearts to the filling and this takes time love jane xxx

thank you folks...sorry for the delay...the backing keeps going wonky...imsuch a perfectionist that i just cannot leave it ... i took 2 days off and did some rr stitching,now im back on the backing and hope to finish tonight i will up date as soon as i am able love jane xxxx

Jane, absolutely breathtaking. Emmas list of parcel delivering looks good on price too. Thanks Emma for letting us know. Any pennies that can be saved are all vaery welcome. The only problem is that this particular blanket doesn't have a value as it can only be described as priceless. I think that Jane deserves 3 cheers as do all that have stitched the beautiful squares. Hip hip horray etc.

The first blanket looks amazing, how and when do the others get auctioned to raise money or will you be giving us details later on as my nan said she would love a blanket!!!

hannys 1st blanket of love is now on its way to her family with our love .. thank you to every one for your much needed help and for your donations that helped greatly with the almost £25.00 cost of postage... my question is what do you all want me to do with the money left over.. theres around £10... do i keep it for fabrics for the rest of the blankets.... do i donate it to my charity or would you like me to donate it to the cancer charity when ive fnished all of the hearts blankets this is your donations so please let me know love jane xxxxx
